Second owner of this vintage beauty and- sadly - do not have the proper space to really enjoy it! I hate to part with it - REALLY - but its just not going to work in the configuration planned for a backyard "makeover".... For its age, it is near-excellent condition! No "thru-rust" or corrosion. The only thing it needs, is a tack weld at the damper's flipper-door hinge point, opposite damper handle (See photo 7) decent welder could easily make the repair in a couple minutes. The legs have always been blocked - off the ground - during wet weather, and it's always been covered with water proof canvas.. I've only had to use high-heat, gloss black paint once over the course of the 15 years I've had it. These are becoming increasingly difficult to find and - restored - they command BIG bucks I'm asking $1,100 or best reasonable offer....GREAT conversation piece, could be converted to gas with not much effort It gets really warm and we've had 8 to 10 people huddled around it.
